Every journey we design is personal.
These terms are here to keep things clear, fair, and transparent — for both sides.

By confirming a booking with PT Beta Komodo Tour Operator, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them clear and straightforward—just as we run our trips.

Bookings & Planning

Each trip starts with a conversation.

You can:

  • Select an experience
  • Or request a fully tailor-made journey

Once we understand your plans, we’ll send you a detailed proposal.
Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is received.

We recommend booking:

  • A few days in advance for low season
  • At least a few weeks ahead for high season

Some trips depend on availability—especially boats and remote stays.

Payments

To secure your trip, a 20% deposit is required.

The remaining balance is settled before your journey begins, unless agreed otherwise.

We accept:

  • Bank transfer
  • Wise

All payment details will be clearly provided in your invoice.

Bookings Through Other Platforms

If you book through platforms such as GetYourGuide or Viator, their terms and policies will apply.

This includes:

  • Payment handling
  • Cancellation policies
  • Refund timelines

We recommend reviewing their terms before confirming your booking.

Flexibility & Changes

Travel in Flores is beautiful—but not always predictable.

We may adjust routes or timing due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Sea conditions
  • Local circumstances

When this happens, we always aim to provide the best possible alternative—without compromising your experience.

Cancellations

If your plans change, please let us know by email.

Refunds follow this structure:

  • 46 days or more before arrival: full refund
  • 45–30 days: 60% refund
  • 29–21 days: 50% refund
  • 20 days or less: no refund

Some deposits may already be committed to local partners and may not be recoverable.

If We Need to Cancel

In rare cases—such as extreme weather or unforeseen events—we may need to adjust or cancel a trip.

If no alternative is possible, you will receive a full refund.

Your Responsibility as a Traveler

We take care of your journey here.

You are responsible for:

  • Travel documents and visas
  • Personal insurance
  • Your belongings

We strongly recommend travel insurance for peace of mind.

Health & Safety

Some experiences—especially in Komodo and Flores—can be physically demanding.

 

By joining, you confirm that you are fit to travel.
If you have any medical conditions, please let us know in advance.

Working with Local Partners

We work with trusted local crews, boat operators, and hosts.

While we carefully select every partner, some elements are beyond our direct control.
We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party services.

A Note on Expectations

We don’t offer mass tourism.

What we offer is something more personal—
a journey shaped around you, with care and intention.
